LC maintains data transfer clusters (DTCs) comprised of data transfer nodes (DTNs) for accessibility to the various "island of storage" shared namespaces found in the HPC center. These DTC systems are designed such that may be logged into for moving files between LC file systems and HPSS archival storage, and are available in all three LC network enclaves:
