LC provides mechanisms for users to share data. For data stored within LC file systems, most users are able to accomplish data sharing via user-managed Linux groups and POSIX file permissions. The basics of these concepts (and many more topics) are described in the Using LC File Systems user guide. 

Users wishing to share data beyond LC systems must abide by all LLNL Review and Release requirements (some of which are described on the Review and Release of Large Datasets page). We also ask that users follow the Guidelines for External Data Transfers. For appropriate data, LC offers tools via our Green Collaboration Environment.
