Livermore Computing provides first-class computational infrastructure that supports the computing requirements of the Laboratory's scientists. In addition, LC develops High Performance Computing (HPC) solutions, in collaboration with partners at Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories, for use by the Advanced Simulation and Computing Program. We also provide leveraged, cost-effective HPC to multiple programs and independent LLNL researchers under the Multiprogrammatic and Institutional Computing (M&IC) program.

Archival Storage Hardware

LC has archival storage systems for moving files between LC file systems and HPSS archival storage on all three networks.

Compute Platforms

Also known as systems, machines, or supercomputers, our Compute Platforms page shows a detailed, sortable systems summary.

File Systems Hardware

Our File Systems page has detailed information about our file systems storage and quotas.
