At 8am Tuesday September 30 the Lassen, RZAnsel, and Sierra systems will be retired.

At 8am Monday November 3 the /p/gpfs1 file systems associated with Lassen, RZAnsel, and Sierra (as well as Tron and Vertex) will be retired.

The /p/gpfs1 file systems will be completely decommissioned and it is up to users to migrate any data they wish to keep. During the month of October, users will be able to utilize the *slic clusters to access their data:

• Data from Lassen /p/gpfs1 is accessible on oslic at /p/lassengpfs1 and on rzslic at /p/lassengpfs1.
• Data from RZAnsel /p/gpfs1 is be accessible on rzslic at /p/rzanselgpfs1.
• Data from Sierra /p/gpfs1 is accessible on cslic (along with Tron and Vertex) at /p/gpfs1.

LC provides a slew of alternate file systems and our HPSS archive storage. We also support many data management tools to help with this migration.
